Do you know the main absolutely necessary requirements to be an aupair?
Each country has special requierments and rules. For some countries it is impossible to be aupair if you do not fit these aupair requirements. Please read the information carefully.

Aupair in Germany
Aupairs
from the old Countries of the European Union: Switzerland, Italy, Britain,
Greece, France, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Spain, Denmark
1. age:
17-27
2.You must have
basic knowledge of the German language, You must have learned about 170
hours.
Aupairs
from the new European member countries: Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia,
Hungary, Slovakia, Czeach, Slovenia, Malta
1. age: 17-24
2.You must have
basic knowledge of the German language, We need a certificate - whatever
it is. The knowledge of the German language ever will be tested when you
apply for an allowance of work at the ´Bundesagentur für Arbeit´ when
you will go to the aupair host family in
Germany. If your knowledge of the language is not enough qualified (learned about 170 hours)
then you will not get a work permit. That means you cannot work in an
aupair family and if you work there it will be illegal.

2.You must have

in the school, at the University or anywhere else. You must be able to
answer simple questions at the telephone. A certificate about this
knowledge is absolutely requiered. It can be a translation of the school
leaving certificate or something else. The knowledge of German will be
tested ever in the German embassy when you will apply for a visa! By this
reason it will not never help when you send us wrong certifcates.

months intensively.
Aupairs

basic knowledge of the German language, We need a certificate - whatever
it is. You must have learned about 3 months intensively. You must be able
to speak well at the telephone with the families. If not they will not
choose you.
All other countries of the world also can apply for an aupair visa for Austria. The two absolutely necessary requierments are:
1.
age: 17-26 years old when you ask at the embassy for a visa
2. basic knowledge of the German
language. You must have learned about 170 hours German
in the school, at the University or anywhere else. You must be able to
answer simple questions at the telephone. A certificate about this
knowledge is absolutely requiered. It can be a translation of the school
